ABOUTME
My name is Tommy Murray, Jr. and I am a recent graduate with a degree in Game Design and Development from the Golisano College of Computing and Information Sciences at the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT). Throughout my academic journey, I honed my skills in web design, programming, art, storytelling, and various aspects of video game design.
My overarching ambition is to become a lead creative director, where I can contribute to the production of compelling content that resonates with audiences and/or customers. Alongside this goal, I am actively working on completing my science fiction graphic novel.
In addition to my pursuits, my interests include playing video games, watching movies, reading novels, writing, drawing, traveling, and running.
With a solid educational foundation and a passionate enthusiasm for art and design, I am eager to make meaningful contributions to the realm of creative expression.

The Process
Every character begins with a turnaround. The purpose of this step is primarily to design the main physical features and clothing of the character from the front to back.
Next, I explore different poses with by creating low fidelity thumbnails. Once I find one that I like and the proportions are fixed, I begin to trace over it with a black brush and add all the detail from the character turnaround. Once it is traced, it's time to color, background and other effects/accessories.
